Snežana SAVIĆ is full professor of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology at the Faculty of Pharmacy-University of Belgrade - FPUB (Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology), with strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, where she worked for 7 years in the R&D department of the pharmaceutical company Galenika ad in Belgrade. She holds an MScin Cosmetology, a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and a specialization in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
In the period 2018-2024 she was Vice Dean for Research and International Cooperation (FPUB). Prof. Savić is a lecturer for a number of undergraduate and postgraduate
courses (specialization, master and doctoral studies): Pharmaceutical Technology 1 and 2, Cosmetology, Introduction to Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. She is the head of specialization in the field of Cosmetology and teacher in National master study program: Dietary and cosmetic products to improve the quality of life.
Snežana Savić is head of the research group Nanoplatforms for Brain and Skin Drug Delivery, link . She supervised 17 defended PhD theses, mainly in the field ofnanotechnology, and coordinated a number of research projects in this field (8), both in the area of nanodelivery systems for active pharmaceutical ingredients and cosmetics.
She is author or co-author of 153 publications in international peer reviewed journals and a number of oral and poster presentations at national and international
conferences. Total citations: 2864, h-index: 29 (source: SCOPUS, November 18, 2024). She is co-inventor of 2 national patents and has long-term collaborations with research
groups in Germany, Greece, Slovenia, UK, Ireland, Poland and Switzerland.
