Sandra Vezmar Kovacevic

Sandra Vezmar Kovačević is a full-time professor in the field of Pharmacokinetics and Clinical pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She teaches theoretical and practical classes in pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy in the undergraduate pharmacy program. Moreover, she teaches several subjects in the PG Dip program in pharmaceutical care, Short program of Pharmacovigilance and PhD program in pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy, as well as in the PhD program in Medical Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
Her research focuses on drug-related problems, mainly drug-drug interactions, adverse reactions and adherence, in different health-care settings. Moreover, she participates in the research team that focuses on Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. She is a member of the Committee for Drugs of the Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices in Serbia, and her expertise in the Agency is recognized in the field of bioequivalence and pharmacovigilance. Chamber of Serbia as a member of the Licensing exam committee and work group leader for development and implementation of pharmaceutical care services.
