Ana Palmeira de Oliveira graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences and obtained her master's from Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto, Portugal. She obtained her doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and MBA from Universidade da Beira Interior (Covilhã, Portugal), where she is a guest assistant professor. She is the managing partner and general director of HPRD Lda, a company based in Covilhã which owns the Labfit and Pharmapoli brands. She is a member of the RISE HEALTH research center, dedicated to investigating the pathophysiology of genital infection and determining the antimicrobial profile of new compounds or therapeutic strategies. She is the author and co-author of more than a hundred scientific publications and supervisor of several completed and ongoing master's and doctoral studies in health sciences. She is also president of the supervisory board of the Portuguese Society of Cosmetological Sciences, vice-president of the Iberian Interior Tourism Association, member of the board of directors of CEC – Chamber of Commerce of the Center, president of the Cosmetic Cluster PT and president of the board of the Beira Baixa Business Association (AEBB).
